The route from Marbella to the Refugio de El Juanar runs through the mountains of Ojén with 34 kilometres that you can do in approximately two hours. From San Pedro Alcántara to Istán via Río Verde: This is a slightly more complicated and longer route than the two previous ones, with an approximate duration of almost seven hours, consisting of 65kms of ascents and descents through the municipality of Istán until you reach Rio Verde. It is 17 kilometres long and can be done by bike, passing through Puerto Banús. It runs alongside the Mediterranean Sea at all times and is ideal for taking photographs, strolling along it or stopping for a drink at any of the bars and terraces along the way.
