Go to the beach – You must do at least one beach day when you’re on the Costa del Sol, as there’s nothing better than making sandcastles, playing in the waves and hanging out as a family. Most chiringuitos (beach restaurants) have beach beds which you can hire from as little as 3€ per day, so you can get some shade and comfort for your beach day and be able to pop up to the restaurant for a snack, or get cool drinks and ice creams brought to your sunbed.
Chill by the pool – Kids and their parents love being able to be at the pool, so make sure you choose a vacation rental with a private or community pool. This is perfect for a lazy day, when you can soak up the sun, read a book and relax while the kids play, swim and run around to their heart’s content. It’s brilliant to be able to pop back to your holiday rental for drinks, snacks, more sunscreen, or even a nap – it makes the day really easy and relaxed.
Go to the playground – There is a huge quantity of playgrounds and public parks all along the Costa del Sol and with the sunny, warm weather, it’s a lovely thing to do while you’re on holiday. Many playgrounds also have little cafes by the side of them, so while the kids play, the parents can relax with a coffee or a cold beer and everyone can enjoy their day!
Choose a great family day out – As a family friendly holiday destination, the Costa del Sol has a huge number of great activities on offer.
