Located in the Estepona area, on the western Costa del Sol, El Paraiso is a classic course designed by Gary Player in the 70s and very well regarded for the quality of the course and the value for money. It is a relatively easy course, with wide fairways and big greens, which gives even the inexperienced golfer room for error. It’s in a beautiful setting with palms, mature trees, streams and lakes, yet is close to the coast road and easy to find, so good for a golf holiday.
El Paraiso is owned and run by its members, and they are committed to continuous improvement to the club to keep it as one of the best in the area. It is popular for its very friendly and helpful staff who make non-members feel really welcome, and they pride themselves for providing a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with a championship layout.
The length of the championship course is 6,131 meters with 18 varied holes set in two circuits of nine returning to the Club House. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition, and the best holes are considered the 6th and 8th. The Club House has recently got a new terrace area and is praised for its good food and friendly service.
Green fees are 59€ in low-season, 72€ in mid-season and 99€ in high-season and there are good offers available for 2 green fees and buggies.
