This Javier Arana designed 18 hole course is named after the river which runs through it, offering some challenges for the golfer and some lovely views. The long, 6,000 meter course is a Costa del Sol classic, running right down to the beach, in an idyllic location, within easy reach of Marbella centre.
It is ranked 33rd in Southern Spain by Top100GolfCourses.com which highlights the 4th and 8th holes as offering challenge and stunning scenery. CostadelSolGolf.com recommends the course due to its value for money and excellence of the grass. The reviewer comments that it is a relatively easy course to play, but it is ideal for working on all aspects of your game, although it doesn’t offer the excitement of some of the other courses on the Costa del Sol.
There is parking, locker rooms, a pro shop and restaurant. Mid-season green fees are 82€ for a morning slot, or 65€ for the afternoon, 104€ and 83€ in the high season and 78€ and 62€ in the low season.
