This is the biggest, brightest, newest play centre on the Costa del Sol and it’s a great place for a family day out come rain or shine. The team behind the centre wanted to create a different kind of soft play area, which was fun for all the family (rather than hell for the parents) and we think they have really succeeded.
They have three play areas, which appeal to different ages. There is a small interactive playframe for babies and toddlers, which is great fun for the little ones, but easy for you to go in and get them if they need you.
There’s also an enormous playframe designed for 4 to 12 year olds, where older kids will happily disappear for hours, climbing, sliding and bouncing to their hearts’ content. Expect to see them only when they are thirsty or hungry!
Unusually, there are also things to keep the teens entertained, so the whole family can stay together. Teens will enjoy pool, ping-pong, table football and a really fun game called foot pool, where you run around on a huge pool table with footballs instead of billiard balls!
Mundo Mania also has a lovely bar/café area, separated from the play area and decorated nicely, where parents can escape and relax. The food is excellent quality and reasonably priced with favourites including pizzas, which are handmade and cooked in a proper pizza oven, nachos with guacamole, fresh salads, wraps and pasta dishes. This is definitely a cut above your normal play centre food and if you block out the sound you can imagine that you’re in a bar rather than a play centre.
