Los Bandidos is a Puerto Banus institution which has been overlooking this famous marina for over 30 years. The owner Jill works hard to give diners a great experience, giving a warm welcome and delicious fresh food with a Scandinavian influence.
The interior of this cozy restaurant is extraordinary with plants and flowers covering the ceiling, walls packed with old photographs, and closely packed tables with white table cloths. It has a large loyal clientele and is always busy all year round, so booking is essential.
The food is varied and interesting, taking influences from all over the world. Starters include, snails, scampi, gravalax, pil pil and beef carpaccio. There are a selection of salads and soups, fresh pasta, fish and sea food and a large selection of meat dishes. The steaks are recommended, particularly “Kurt’s Favourite” which is a fillet of beef with pepper sauce and gratinated tagliatele. Other interesting dishes include the meat fondue and the fillet of veal stuffed with cheese and foie-gras. The apple pie is highly recommended to round off a meal. This is seriously rich, decadent, traditional food, but presented really well.
If you want to fully experience Puerto Banus, a trip to Los Bandidos is a must for the amazing waterfront location, high quality food and lovely service. To find out more visit their website or find them on TripAdvisor.
