Elegant and luminous local creative menu with Hindu and Mediterranean influences

If you are looking for refined dining with excellent service right on the beach and overlooking a stunning pool, then Puente Romano’s Sea Grill is a great choice.

You can start with a cocktail with a stunning view, in the cozy bar area, in the sunny, comfortable dining room, or in the outside dining area surrounding the pool before your meal to really make the most of the experience.

The menu is an eclectic mix of classic meat and seafood, with starters to share, soups, pastas and rice, as well as seafood and meats prepared on their charcoal grill. Unusually they also have a Tandoor oven and have specials such as chicken and beef tikka and tandoori prawns or monkfish, which makes for a delightful change.

They have a sumptuous lunch buffet with an amazing selection of fish, salads, meats and deserts, which is a real treat. They cook almost any meat or fish for you to order and you can indulge in lobster and amazing seafood to your heart’s content. The advice for this – come hungry and stay for a long time to really make the most of one of the best buffets on the Costa del Sol.

As a guide, prices are around 20€ for pasta or noodles, 32€ for a steak and 28€ for salmon, cocktails are 16€ each.

The service, setting and food is all highly praised and it’s a great place to spend a special occasion or to treat yourself on your next holiday in Marbella.

Where to stay?

The Sea Grill is part of the Puente Romano hotel complex, which also has another five restaurants in their Plaza Village area and is becoming a real gastronomic hub. There is an Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Thai and even a gluten free bakery and café, as well as a nightclub and outside bar area, so there’s something for everyone.

Plaza Village is located on the Golden Mile, between Marbella centre and Puerto Banus and is a good location if you like to have the flexibility to walk to both areas along the long, pretty seaside promenade. The Golden Mile itself also has everything you need for your holiday – supermarkets for stocking the fridge, nice cafes for breakfast, petrol station and banks, so it’s very convenient as a base.

There are lots of great vacation rentals on the Golden Mile and we even have an amazing property right next door to Puente Romano, so if you want to try a selection of the restaurants and bars, or visit the nightclub here, then this is the apartment for you!
